Hey there, I'm Sam Jones – your brand’s keeper, design enthusiast, and the friendly voice you'll find behind Origin.

With a BFA in Graphic Design from Shepherd University and a semester abroad at Korea University under my belt, I ventured into the creative world. Four years at two fantastic creative agencies and a side hustle in freelancing later, I knew it was time to channel everything I'd absorbed into creating a studio that values work-life balance as much as passionate clients. After all, everyone has an Origin story, and every day, I'm privileged to help brands and businesses tell theirs.

Over here, we're not just about making things look cool (though we do that too). I partner with clients to take an intentional and holistic approach to their brands, from naming and brand voice to identity and beyond.

When I'm not risking my retinas from sitting too close to my trusty iMac, you might catch me trying my hand at language apps, daydreaming about my next adventure abroad, unintentionally causing house plants to meet their demise, or attempting a semi-coordinated shuffle at a music festival.

In other important news, I'd say I'm a solid 7/10 in trivia, and if you're ever meeting up with me for work, expect someone on the shorter side, likely dressed in neutral tones, and sporting bangs that are perpetually overdue for a trim.
